SmartPhone iOralCam App in Detection Processing of Tooth Surfaces Using Intra-Oral Cameras
Tele-Optic Services, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
Website: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/organization-tele-optic-services

SmartPhone iOralCam App has been developed for dental diagnosis and image detection processes of tooth surfaces by dentists that uses the following intra-oral model cameras: G-Cam (G-Cam ™, GC Corporation, Tokyo, Japan), Morita Penviewer (Morita Penviewer ™, J. Morita Manufacturing Corporation, Kyoto, Japan), VistaCam (VistaCam ™ , DÜrr Dental GmbH, Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany) and SoproLife (SoproLife® camera, Acteon, La Ciotat, France) in their clinical practices.
Practically, iOralCam App can be manipulated for any wireless intra-oral camera that either communicate with smartphones or manually transfer taken intra-oral photo to a smartphone. Importantly, intra-oral camera must use either violet or blue LEDs (405-450 nm wavelengths) for illumination, and uses orange filters positioned immediately in front of the camera sensor to remove the reflected excitation light and to enhance the signal to noise ratio for red fluorescence emitted from deposits of bacteria such as those found in lesions of dental caries, dental calculus and mature deposits of dental plaque.
iOralCam App has number of platform features for tooth surfaces analysis such as image diagnostic detection processing of dental caries, calculus or dental plaque, measuring tooth-surfaces temperature or optically finding tooth surfaces molecules in regard to its porphyrin derivatives, organic and inorganic components. This App mainly recommends for dentist using intra-oral cameras for tooth surfaces image processing, and Tele-Optic Services supply this App to the following manufacturers: GC Corporation (Tokyo, Japan), J. Morita Manufacturing Corporation (Kyoto, Japan), DÜrr Dental GmbH (Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany) and Acteon (La Ciotat, France) that also include this App with associating intra-oral hardware products supply to the dentists.
