For each event, Ipsidy presents the user with a simple “Confirm/Deny” request to their mobile phone with data elements unique to that event. Users approve everyday transactions on their own device with a simple ‘selfie’ that authenticates their identity. Ipsidy converts the selfie into a biometric facial template that is matched against a previously enrolled reference template.
