For teens and adults with intellectual disabilities, shopping is a common and important activity. However, it is also a complex and demanding task that incorporates a broad set of skills that include handling money, mathematical calculations, following social cues, interacting with others and more.
On iShop, being able to shop is an expression of independence and choice and a form of community inclusion. This is why we curated and designed your new shopping assistant that will help you have an autonomous shopping experience.
With iShop you can:
+Have the app count your money by matching pictures on the screen to what is seen in your wallet.
+Lock your wallet to avoid adding too many bills.
+Enter any item that you are purchasing from the store shelf into the app.
+See exactly the amount spent on your purchases with in-app warnings if you exceed the total amount of money in your wallet.
+Checkout with the app showing you which bills from your wallet you must give to the cashier.
+Set administrator settings that allows changing tax percentages depending on your province, and tip calculation.
iShop is completely FREE, no in-app purchases or ADS.
