What is it about?

Java coffee shops, Manchesters’s oldest independent coffee house since 1996! Yes 1996. An original mancunian creation hewn from the madchester days of the hacienda. We're not fashionable or trendy and we don’t follow the herd when it comes to coffee, we do really good consistent coffee by the way. Although we do probably have the best flat white this side of Melbourn. Back in 1995 we took inspiration from the best family run coffee houses in Europe, Prague, Krakow and Budapest. Wonderful cities indeed. They say the best complement is when someone copies you, well Java coffee has been copied all over the world except for our coffee and originality, that’s not possible.
