JCT Mobility Messenger

This app works in conjunction with the JCT Nurse Call Paging System, allowing integration of IOS devices.

It receive pages from the Nurse Call system based on various events, such as assistance required button being pushed in a patients room.

The App contains VOIP functionality using SIP, allowing phone calls to be made to and from the device.

It also uses the GPS to provide location tracking for the user as a safety feature for Nurses and Carers that visit offset locations. This information is passed back to the server periodically while on duty.

The VOIP and GPS functions run in the background so will have an impact on battery life, but are only enabled when the app is logged in to the server, which would typically be during a Shift.
