Jingle Street

What is it about?

Open a world of unique and unlimited cuisine possibilities. Welcome to Jingle Street! The Jingle Street mobile app will allow street vendors and customers to create separate accounts. Street vendors will have the opportunity to add their menu, share photos and their location so they can be found by customers. Street vendors will have a “Selling” or “Not Selling” feature. If a street vendor is “Selling”, this means that he/she is open for business and their icon will appear on the map for customers to view. When a street vendor selects the “Not Selling” feature, this means that they’re closed for business and their icon will disappear from the map. Customers will no longer be able to input any orders. A street vendor holds the right to accept or refuse any orders. However, if an order is refused, the street vendor must explain to the customer the reason why. Street vendors will have the opportunity to collect payments on the app. When costumers open the Jingle Street app, a map will appear filled with street vendor icons who are currently in business. Customers will be able to click on any desired icon and navigate the street vendor’s profile. Customers will be able to see ratings and comments from previous customers as well as the vendor’s photos and menu. Customers will be able to save any street vendor as a favorite and be notified anytime that street vendor opens or closes for business. On the top of the screen there will be a search bar. Customers will have the opportunity to search for any kind of food they may desire. This will eliminate all other vendors currently in business who do not sell the desired item. For example, I search for Tacos. Only vendors who sell tacos will appear on the map. All other vendors will vanish from the map unless I cancel my specific search. In addition, by clicking on a vendor’s icon, a road map will appear with estimated time of arrival. Customers will be able to comment and rate their experience. Lastly, customers will be able to purchase food for pick up on the app.
