App Store Description

Johnson Screens Well Cleaning app is an interactive program that allows you to design a chemical treatment process for the cleaning and disinfection of water wells using NSF approved chemicals for potable water supplies.

You will have to answer some questions regarding the well dimensions, water quality and static-water level. Based on the data input to the app, a recommendation will be provided. The recommendations of the treatment volumes and chemical concentrations for well cleaning and disinfection account for the well construction and water chemistry in the well.

If you have any special issues concerned with cleaning wells with unique water chemistries not typically found in potable water wells, please contact Johnson Screens for a recommendation.

An overview of well cleaning is found in Chapter 13 of Ground Water and Wells 3rd edition and a more detailed explanation of well cleaning and disinfection is provided in Johnson Screens’ book – Chemical Cleaning, Disinfection and Decontamination of Water.
