App Store Description

In Jo's Memory you embark on a journey into the past, while trying to escape a dystopian world full of puzzles.

In a near future city, almost everything is delivered by autonomous drones. There's no reason to ever leave your house, so most people don't. Except for Jo. Jo loves to bike through the foggy city, even though the fog makes their head feel a little weird, and makes remembering things hard.

Plus, Jo has a great job! At least, they think it's a great job... But when strange energy anomalies appear all around the city, causing the autonomous delivery system to break down, it's up to Jo to figure out how to get the system online again. As Jo explores the city--and beyond--they learn that maybe their job isn't so great and, also, maybe they're not even who they thought they were!

Solve puzzles connected to the mysterious glass cubes and help Jo navigate the world by bike. Uncover new unexplored areas and learn more about the hidden secrets of Jo's past.

The Blackbox project with the three partners – the LWL-Museum of Archaeology, the LWL-Roman Museum Haltern and the Deutsches Bergbau-Museum Bochum, Leibniz Research Museum for Georesources – opens up closed spaces of archaeological work in a participatory way and with digital means and makes knowledge transparent and discussable. The design studio NEEEU Spaces GmbH supports the joint museums as a digital partner.
