Published on behalf of The American Risk and Insurance Association, The Journal of Risk and Insurance is the flagship journal for the American Risk and Insurance Association. The JRI is the most well recognized academic risk management and insurance journal in the world publishing rigorous, original research in insurance and risk management.

Both theoretical and empirical submissions are encouraged. Empirical work must provide tests of hypotheses based on sound theoretical foundations.
