You interact with JournalBot through your messaging app. Texts, pictures, and emojis are all fair game.

We created JournalBot because we believe in the power of journaling - for clarity of mind, remembering your life, and general mental health - but thought that the existing solutions today were too hard for most people. Common issues we heard include it being hard to develop a habit using yet another app or physical journal and it being difficult to know what to write about. JournalBot came out of the insight of "what if journaling was as easy as talking to a friend?". That's our ultimate vision for JournalBot - a friend that is always available to listen, asks you interesting questions, and always remembers what you've said.

Since you interact with JournalBot using SMS, it is currently only available to users with a US phone number for now.

SUBSCRIPTION PRICING AND TERMS

JournalBot offers two auto-renewing subscription options:
- $2.99 (USD) per month
- $29.99 (USD) per year

Your JournalBot subscription will automatically renew at the end of each term and your credit card will be charged through your iTunes account unless auto-renew is turned off 24 hours before the subscription term expires. You can turn off auto-renew at any time from your iTunes account settings but refunds will not be provided for any unused portion of the term. New users get a free 14 days to try JournalBot. If you subscribe before the trial is over, the rest of your free trial is forfeited.
