Every product we consume today, whether from grocery stores or restaurants use a reactive distribution system — They hold more inventory than what is required because they don’t know how much you will buy. When you don’t buy, the excess inventory is wasted.

At Jupiter, we are designing what may be the first proactive distribution system. One that starts inside the home and one that doesn’t sacrifice our happiness with the products we need and love. We pair families with a team of three people who visit weekly. This team, while delivering products, captures home consumption data. This data allows us to put our customer’s groceries and household items on autopilot. As a result, homes on Jupiter save money and get time back to spend with their families. By predicting what homes need week to week we also become smarter at understanding when consumption trends change and by how much, which is quite frequent.

Our ultimate vision at Jupiter is to create a closed loop product distribution system; one with minimal waste and one that reuses the resources it needs to function.
