App Store Description

Use your VR headset to get familiar with the Japanese syllable alphabets Hiragana and Katakana!

The KanaVR app will present you a spoken syllable and its western writing and you are challenged to pick the correct Kana character heading towards you before it is going to hit you.

A VR headset for smartphones like Google Cardboard or similar will greatly improve the overall experience, even though a non-VR mode exists as well for those without "phoney goggles"

The app can be paused by touching the screen or activating the hardware button of your VR headset in VR mode or by touching the screen with two fingers simultaneously in non-VR mode.

Most of the text in this app is written and spoken in Japanese for a more authentic feel.
