The multilingual and multimedia daycare app offers parents valuable help by providing answers to the most common questions associated with entering and staying in a daycare center.

The currently included languages ​​are:
- German
- english
- français (French)
- русский (Russian)
- العربية (Arabic)
- فارسی (dari)
- türkçe (Turkish)
- soomaali (somali)

A special feature of the app is the “read aloud” function. The day-care center information is clearly presented in 6 categories, images support the text statements, the texts are read out in the national languages ​​- with German subtitles. In addition, the app contains a participatory function for quality assurance and further development.

The categories are:
1.) Forms of care
2.) The kindergarten
3.) The first steps
4.) The care
5.) costs
6.) General conditions.

In addition to providing information for parents, the app wants to relieve the educational staff in day-care centers by answering recurring questions from parents.

This app was funded as part of the federal program "Kita-Einstieg: Build Bridges in Early Education" and by the city of Würzburg in cooperation with Prof. Dr. Harald Wehnes, Institute for Computer Science at the University of Würzburg, and Mr. Lorenz Pfeifer.

Special thanks go to the students of the Ursuline School in Würzburg and their teacher Hildegard Carl, as well as Sascha Wehmeier from Bayerischer Rundfunk for the audio recording of the reading function.
