We are a social network for student employability and early stage careers. Kloodle is a secure
user-friendly platform designed to help students to evidence employability skills and
achievements, which could help them to gain access to an apprenticeship, enter the world of
work or supplement UCAS applications. It’s a 3 dimensional CV.
How can Kloodle help students?
At the heart of Kloodle’s mission is the student experience. We are passionate about re-inventing
the way that students create profiles and communicate with employers. Kloodle encourages
students to:
• evidence crucial employability skills through a safe and secure on-line environment;
• create an academic profile by writing a bio and blogs about themselves, identifying their
top achievements, uploading photos, videos,, important documents and projects;
• create connections and see how other students in your closed community are promoting
themselves;
• apply for jobs, apprenticeships and opportunities.
How can Kloodle help teachers?
In short, Kloodle reduces paperwork and allows teachers to focus on developing students’ skills
in line with the most recent Ofsted CIF handbooks. As a teacher you can:
• monitor student profiles at a glance;
• identify strengths or deficits in students’ skill-sets.
• provide immediate feedback on student blogs, photos or videos;
• measure the development of student skills using the handy progression wheel;
• maintain an overview of work experience diaries and maintain contact when students are
away from the classroom;
• set action plans for students to inform 1-2-1 reviews;
