KEY FEATURES:

RIGHT TO JOIN
Any resident has the right to be a member of your “klusknit” i.e. your neighborhood. No need for invitations from so-called “admins” of whatsapp or facebook groups - all you need is proof of your address.

RESIDENT VERIFICATION
Engage with your REAL neighbours confidently and safely on klusknit. With address verification, you won’t have to worry that you are potentially engaging and sharing information with random people with no ties to the neighbourhood.

ALERTS
Notify your neighbours of urgent and significant matters which may impact them in the neighbourhood, e.g. hazards, security, outages etc.

NOTICES
Stay informed about the latest news and important updates or formal announcements from your neighbourhood committee.

DISCUSSION FORUMS
Raise issues affecting the neighbourhood, discuss solutions, share and brainstorm ideas, request / share recommendations or just chat and get to know your neighbours better. With klusknit, you can also easily capture and turn discussion points from comments into action items, recommendations or resolutions.

FAVOURS
Offer a good deed or service to your neighbours; or ask for a favour if you’d like a neighbour to help you with something.

EVENTS
Organize neighborhood events eg meetings, gotong royong, social gatherings etc, and easily track RSVPs as well as notify attendees of any changes.

NOTIFICATIONS
The app will automatically notify relevant members of important alerts, notices, new discussions, events and favours created. Members also get notified of any activity related to their posts.

PARKING ASSISTANCE
If you inadvertently block someone’s car, you can leave a message for the ‘Blockee’ to reach out in the event they need you to move your vehicle; and vice versa. klusknit can also broadcast alerts to nearby residents and businesses on the app to request assistance to identify and reach out to someone who is blocking your vehicle.


Sub-Groups according to needs – create your own groups to have different levels of engagement. For example a smaller community based on your street or enclave; or wider engagement based on similar interests or to achieve specific objectives.
