Kowalah helps parents to reclaim their time with on demand child care.

At home or on holiday, during the day or at night, the Kowalah app connects you with a selection of available childcare providers (Kowalahs) for you to choose from.

Kowalahs help with afterschool, evening sitting, holiday help, parties, weddings and more.

How does it work?

Parents launch a booking request and the app notifies local Kowalahs. Kowalahs are able to accept or decline based on their availability, and within a few minutes parents are able to review the profiles, photo and reviews of those available, make their selection and confirm the booking.

Contact details are shared between the parent and confirmed Kowalah so you can speak in advance and plan the booking.

All payments are made via the Kowalah app using any major debit or credit card. There is no monthly subscription - just pay as you go!

Kowalah and Safety

Safety is our number one priority - all Kowalahs are interviewed, referenced and social media checked, with the majority having criminal background (DBS) checks displayed on their profile. We hold bank details for all parents confirming their identity helping to keep Kowalahs safe too.
