The KOYA app uses your phone’s current location to see if you are in a place where a KOYA message is waiting for you to discover. The app doesn't track or store your location when you are outside of an undiscovered KOYA location. The KOYA app also checks your current location to center the map when you are beginning your search for a place to leave a KOYA message for friends.
