La Marque utilizes a decentralized gateway to publish any images you have. Focused on catering to artists who would like to watermark their content, avoiding misuse and infringement. While also creating an experience to organize your published creations and collecting works from others whom have encoded their work with La Marque.

// :: How

La Marque uses IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) to store your content. This content's bytes are distributed on a vast P2P (Peer to peer) network. The hash created representing your work is generated, La Marque then merges it into your photo allowing it to act as a key itself. When you would like to share your photo with others, when using La Marque, the recipient can use La Marque to verify that it is indeed the original file, by uploading to La Marque. (This process also works offline).

If an image were to get "copied" onto another system the verification may fail, signifying it wasn't received via direct contact from the artist themselves.

Sharing content should be safer for creators. It shouldn't need to be censored. And the integrity of an artist's true intentions should be the first responsibility.

// :: Extra

La Marque, as you collect and publish, auto-generates a static - website hosting your very collection. You can share this with others as well to preview your work or the works you found interesting to add to your exhibition. Do not worry, these photos on your static-site, cannot get authenticated. Authentic pieces, must be sent by you and received from your version of La Marque directly.
