Mapping created for cyclists, by cyclists.
LaneSpotter is a community-sourced bike mapping and navigation tool, with a focus on safety. Through the app, you can create and view:
Bike Maps: Find all of the protected bike lanes, painted bike lanes, shared lanes, and multi-use trails. If your city doesn’t have a Bike Map, let us know so we can add it!
Safety Maps: Community-sourced Safety Ratings on nearby roads. Safety Ratings are provided by cyclists who have biked theses roads. Ratings are Very Safe, Safe, Average, Use Caution and Avoid.
Alerts: Drop pins on the map to alert other cyclists of road conditions, closures and tips. For example: large potholes or grates, temporary bike lane closures, dangerous intersections, short cuts.
Spotter Stops: Quickly and easily find nearby bike shops, bike share locations, fix stations and bike-friendly businesses.
