What is a 'Makerspace'?

A 'makerspace' is a place of collaboration, learning and trying things out. It's a space where everyone has something to contribute and where we can build something new and different. Together.


Why make leadership learning more accessible for women+?


We passionately believe that more women+ leading at all levels with confidence and courage, is what is needed to make workplaces and the world, better places - for all. However, systemic barriers can impact women’s access to leadership and leadership development. So, we have deliberately made leadership learning more accessible so that women+ can develop their own leadership abilities no matter their income, career status, or whether they are viewed as having 'leadership potential'.

In all of the work we do and the learning that we offer, we centre the voices and experiences of women and in particular, women of colour. That means our starting point is recognizing the inequities that have been built into current systems that impact who gets chosen for the path to leadership, how they are compensated, and who receives investment in leadership development.
