The Social Media effect, celebrity culture and the selfie phenomenon necessitate has underpinning the need for apparel rental. Lend the trend will allow consumers to wear a changing selection of major brands without having to spend as much as they would if they bought the items outright. Moreover, our target consumers value experience over acquiring products and considered budget conscious. Therefore, renting items makes sense for them especially high worth and expensive items that are used only occasionally.

Lend The Trend is a community of fashion lovers that lend rent designers items with each other. Think of it as your own infinite, high-end closet from which you can borrow anytime... A place where you can lend your items to fashionable women and make money when the items rented.

The company has two types of customers: lenders and borrowers. The lenders select dresses from their closet which they then ship to one of Lend The Trend’s offices, and whenever a borrower rent their dresses they get 50% of the rental prices. The rental prices are set at 10% of the retail prices of the dress. Lend the Trend offers dresses to all kinds of events.
