LevCam

LevCam is a point-and-shoot camera app with an on screen level which helps eliminate tilted horizons in your photographs. When the on screen crosshairs are aligned the camera is level. There is also a setting to automatically take a picture once the camera is level.

Once a picture is taken it is displayed for review. The picture can then either be discarded or saved. A caption can be added before it is saved; by default the caption is set to the date and time. The photo review/save operation can also be turned off with a setting.

Photos can be tagged with their location by turning on a setting.

By default photos are saved in the HEIF (high efficiency) format. This setting is recommended due to its small storage size, improved color range, and support for advanced iPhone camera features such as image stabilization, Auto HDR, and Deep Fusion.

Photos may also be saved in JPEG format, but note that even if HEIF is chosen it is always possible to derive a JPEG later.

RAW saves photos in the .dng format. RAW disables advanced iPhone camera features, and is not recommended for general use.
