LIT - Learn Interact Think

Interact with 3D models of LIT books' illustrations and make your child's reading experience interactive and engaging! LIT's Augmented Reality application combines education with entertainment and brings your child a fun, learning opportunity. It gives you a 360 view of the models with captivating animations which help with visual and spatial learning, a technique used by majority of the young learners who are less proficient at deriving meaning from verbal (linguistic) learning alone. The virtual objects pop up on the pages of the book once the in-app camera scans the illustrations creating a new artificial environment for the child to interact with.
LIT AR app brings in an element of surprise in the reading experience which creates anticipation in the child. This anticipation keeps the curiosity alive and helps capture the child’s attention better. Consequently, it enhances learning by improving retention and recall. LIT app takes your child on a virtual tour to various monuments in the first book ‘Pehchaan’ and provides a more holistic learning experience.
Add on videos in the app help the child learn new information outside the book, improving general knowledge augmented with a YouTube channel designed especially for kids. An audio "Read Me" feature will be incorporated soon to build the child’s confidence in word pronunciation and help with reading.
The app has a kid-friendly interface which can easily be learnt to operate independently. Different genres of storybooks will be added soon to cater to varying interests of the children.
