App Store Description

Acute Oncology focuses on the management of patients with compilations of their cancer diagnosis and treatment, and the management of patients with an acute new cancer diagnosis. This app contains the official Acute Oncology Clinical Guidelines of the London Cancer Alliance (LCA), which covers South and West London and serves over 5 million people.

The guidelines provide evidence-based clinical information and protocols whilst allowing sufficient flexibility to reflect good local practice. They are designed to support all healthcare professionals, and allow for the wide range of clinical experience of the user, as well as the varied clinical settings in which they work.

It contains a Directory of Services for the oncology departments of all organisations within the LCA, to facilitate communication between healthcare professionals in different hospitals, and therefore improve the quality of patient care.

This app has been produced by Imagineear Ltd in partnership with CW+ and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, on behalf of the LCA.
