App Store Description

Lumii is an innovative solution that complements and modernises the current cardiac rehabilitation process in the UK. It is aimed at patients who have recently experienced a cardiac event.

The application focuses on the key factors that can impact people after cardiac treatment.

Lumii records and tracks patients’ progress through the rehabilitation process to optimise outcomes and improve recovery. This includes recording activities such as walking, diet, smoking habits, alcohol consumption and mood. It allows an individualized approach to cardiac rehabilitation as all these sections can be switched on or off, depending on individual need.

The ‘Heart Guide’ feature gives up to date and accurate information about the rehabilitation journey and the road to recovery. Lumii aims, to reassure you and help you get the right advice at the right time.

Useful contacts are stored on the application based upon where you have received treatment, to enable you to easily contact your rehabilitation team.

The app is a useful way to record information that can then be shown to the rehab team during visits or classes. It will enable them to support patients in a more effective manner.

The app was conceived and developed by two NHS consultant cardiologists out of a genuine need to optimise cardiac rehabilitation participation and completion rates.
