App Store Description

Many children have difficulty saying words with multiple syllables. Singing can be a fun and easy way to teach children these words.

This app was developed by speech-language pathologist Dr. Givona Sandiford. It may be used with preverbal children with autism, children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and/or children with severe articulation delays.

It includes thirty 2-4 syllable words paired with a bright photograph and a melodic model. Suggestions for use are also included. This app may also be used as part of the Melodic Based Communication Therapy (M.B.C.T.) approach for minimally verbal and nonverbal children with autism. See our website www.melospeech.com for more about this approach.
