Macquarie University is a 126-hectare park-like campus protected by our award-winning sustainability practices. It is located in one of the largest business and technology precincts in the southern hemisphere, creating a hub of innovation and excellence.

Macquarie Explorer is a pioneering new way to explore Macquarie University's campus through self guided and gamified tours. Using GPS location, students, staff and the community can engage and interact with the campus environment.

Features include:
- Self guided tours of our campus grounds with supporting images and video clips.
- Gamified tours for students of all ages which contain:
--- Support for multiple players on a single iPad and multiple groups on multiple iPads
--- Real time leaderboard with scoring
--- Multiple choice questions
--- QR code questions, where you can use the iPad camera to scan a code to identify an object
--- Written response questions, based on keywords for verification
--- Hot spot image questions, where you can identify an object in an image.
- For gamified tours, participants are able to email themselves a certificate of completion.
