App Store Description

Designing an appropriate treatment regimen for Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis (DR-TB) is complex, requiring the clinician to simultaneously consider many diagnostic and clinical parameters to decide on an array of treatment options. The Manage TB India app takes these parameters systematically as input information and supports the clinician in making a diagnosis and designing an appropriate treatment regimen and prescription.
The Manage TB India app is NOT a replacement for expert clinical opinion and is merely a tool to help the user follow national guidelines while developing treatment regimens for their patients.
The app is an initiative to support the implementation of National TB Management Guidelines across the country uniformly. It was developed under the guidance of NITRD and TB specialists of India led by Dr Rupak Singla, HoD, NITRD. The app is currently made available through the iDEFEAT TB Project led by The Union and supported by USAID. It has been validated and endorsed by the Central TB Division, MoHFW, Govt. of India. The technology support for developing the app has been provided by the HEAL Foundation.
