App Store Description

Mandarin Fish is an English/(Mandarin) Chinese dictionary. The name is a a play on both "Mandarin Chinese" and another developer's popular Chinese dictionary app--also named after a fish.

Main Features:
- Dictionary searches in English (all platforms), pinyin, and Simplified Chinese (except on Vision Pro which does not yet support text entry of non-English languages).
- Customizable Flash Card study of built-in or user-created word collections. ("Old" and "New" HSK word collections are provided).

Mandarin Fish does not replace all the features in other Chinese dictionary apps. Rather, it is intended to cover a platform gap by bringing basic features across Apple platforms, including some not well served by those other apps. (Mandarin Fish currently supports macOS, visionOS, and iOS/iPadOS).

Mandarin Fish is a universal purchase(that is, your purchase covers all supported Apple platforms, you don't have to buy it separately for each).

The dictionary used is the popular CC-CEDICT open source dictionary.
