MAP TAG Drivers

MAP TAG is an affordable but powerful intelligent logistic assistant focused on SMEs. We help businesses optimize their logistic operations with a suite of tools that allows them to control, optimize and monitor their routes with cost-saving throughout the entire logistic process.

Companies all over the world have strong operations, but weak tools and information systems to support them. For many SMEs, last-mile delivery expenses are an essential cost of business. The problem is that this cost can represent up to 30% of their sales in comparison with the 10-15% that big companies incur, this is a huge problem regarding small companies' competitiveness. SME's have very little control over their operations and struggle to measure and improve their operations because of three reasons: existing tools are very expensive, they are not fitted or suited to them and SME's simply don´t know they exist, therefore, they don't implement them.

We have developed a multiplatform system with a set of functionalities to help these companies which are: KPI Dashboard, Tracking and monitoring, Route planner, Route reports, Advanced notifications, Final client assistant (LIA Client), API.

All of these functionalities can be accessed through our web app aimed for the admins to have more control over their logistic operations.

To be able to feed the entire Admin system, the driver has to install our MAP TAG driver app which is the main source of input.

We'll explain the exact functionalities that our app has for the sake of this description:

- Open routes mode: with this functionality, the driver will be able to create new delivery routes without the need of having to be assigned the exact order of the deliveries.
- Successful delivery and rejection button: The driver decides what is the delivery order and can register either successful deliveries and their corresponding proof of delivery (which are the name of the client, recipient, signature, photo, and comments) or a rejection (name of the client, cause and comment.
- List view of completed deliveries: once the deliveries have been registered, the driver will have a full view of the delivered client list.
- Upcoming routes section: In this section, the driver will see the routes that the admin has optimized and assigned to them.
- Route start and finish button: every time the drivers start and finish the routes they have hit these buttons to register the event.
- List of clients for the day: The drivers will see the list of clients to be delivered for the day in the most efficient order.
- Option to register status of delivery: the driver can register proof of deliveries (signature, photo, comments), rejections (cause and comment), leave the client pending, and complete the delivery with no evidence.
- Navigate button to destinations: They will be able to see the entire route on the map and navigate through google maps to the client's destination.
- Connection with navigation app (google maps or apple maps) our app will communicate with the preferred navigation app to let them know the exact address, and the navigation app will guide them.
- Profile section: Here they will see the driver's basic information such as name, phone, and a logout button.
- Photo: the driver will be able to upload his/her photo to personalize his/her profile.
- Logout button: to close the session.
