MapTools is your affordable trip recording and measurement tool. The app also allows you to view all your device's GPS data as well as data from several other sensors (barometer, magnetic compass, weather data, etc.).

Record the routes of all your activities (hiking, running, skiing, etc.), view your route live on the map, and obtain numerous details about your routes, such as distance, elevation, average speed, split times, and much more.

Thanks to a simple and intuitive interface, create distance or area measurements by adding points on the map or by drawing your measurements with your fingertip.

# Trip Recording features:
- Record your trip in the background (device in sleep mode or while using other apps)
- View your track on the map
- View graphs of your speed, altitude, vertical speed, and weather data
- Record multi-stage routes (by restarting the recording on a different day or in a different location)
- Track your position and orientation on the map
- View split times
- Access a wealth of detailed trip information such as the number of recorded positions, average speed, elevation gain, and much more...

# Measurement features:
- Calculate distances, areas and radius/circumference by simply adding points on the map
- Create measurements by drawing on the map with your fingertip or a stylus

# GPS and sensor features:
- Access a wealth of data from your device's GPS: coordinates, altitude, speed, heading, accuracy
- Access barometer data and the device's magnetic heading (if equipped)
- Access weather data for your current location (internet connection required)

# Data Import and Export:
- Import and export your trip in GPX format
- Import and export your measurements in KML format

# Available options:
- Choose your units of measurement
- Select your preferred map type (Google)
- Activate dark mode and choose the main color of the app

Please note: continued use of GPS running in the background can significantly decrease battery life.
