App Store Description

The MARC eFOG mobile app is an electronic reference of the MARC Field Operations Guide (FOG). The MARC FOG is a technical reference for emergency communications planning and for radio technicians responsible for radios that will be used in disaster response. It includes rules and regulations for use by the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC), along with other interoperability channels, tables of frequencies and standard channel names, and other reference material.

The MARC eFOG mobile app gives users easy access to public safety emergency communications information, offering a content index with links for quick jumps to reference sections, tables, figures, or images. The ability to save Favorites and create in-line notes enables personalized access to critical information. The MARC eFOG can be downloaded and then taken to the field as an offline reference, to be used without the need of an Internet connection.

The MARC eFOG was developed by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Emergency Communications (OEC) under the Interoperable Communications Technical Assistance Program (ICTAP).

Note: this application requires a proprietary distribution passcode to operate.
