MBCOL Funeral Service

The MBCOL Funeral Service App is aimed at providing vital information and alerts on funerals within the Muslim community primarily in Leicester & Leicestershire. We hope to extend this service nationally in the near future. MBCOL is a not for profit and non-sectarian charity and company limited by guarantee.

The app provides essential information on related matters such as funeral practices and procedures including directions to local cemeteries and local organisations such as mosques.

We have provided tutorials on funeral preparation, how to perform funeral prayers and receiving guests from other faiths who wish to pay their respects. We hope to add other additional guides in the near future including the role of the NHS, HM Coroners and emergency services.

The app will also provide more detailed information through our website on a variety of subjects ranging from Ministry of Justice consultations, current legislation and research.

This app will highlight good practice examples which would be useful to statutory authorities and other community and voluntary organisations.
