Research conducted by a leading University highlighted a very high lack of knowledge among patients regarding the medication they use. A total of 83% of people do not know the medication they use.
The MediQR app was specifically designed to empower and educate the user regarding the medication they are taking or planning to use.
Our QR scanner allows the user to quickly and easily scan the applicable QR code, to retrieve the electronic patient information leaflet developed and endorsed by that pharmaceutical manufacturer and approved by the Medicine Control Council of South Africa.
