MEDISTAR 4A

This app a custom designed mobile application to fit into an anaesthetists daily work flow. It is part of CGM MEDISTAR 4A an overall solution for anaesthetists, their practice administrators and billing clerks. It makes provision for the all anaesthetist workflow scenarios: individual anaesthetists, group practices and associations as well as bureaus.

CGM MEDISTAR 4A is a solution that currently provides the following (all of these synchronise with the mobile app):

- scheduling designed to be initiated from the web app but for emergencies can be initiated from the mobile app
- capturing patient demographics minimum patient details can initially be captured and then a full registration done later depending on workflow
- capturing of pre-operative and administration documentation as picture or scan upload (e.g. pre-op assessment, estimate, billing consent) either via the web app or the mobile app
- capturing notes of each patient interaction on the mobile app including the anaesthesia record by means of picture attachments
- capturing of billing information designed to be done using the mobile app but can also be done via the web app
- send billing information via an email

The solution is still being further developed to provide the following:

- billing
- payments
- claims
- statements
- financial reporting
