This application has been created by some of the world’s foremost experts in Pediatric Palliative Care in under-resourced settings. Dr. Justin Amery’s book A Really Practical Handbook of Children’s Palliative Care forms the basis of this application’s content. Dr. Grunauer and her team augmented this foundation, adding in her extensive experience in founding PPC in Ecuador and other Latin American Countries. Finally, Dr. Michelle Meiring has made valuable content contributions related to her extensive experience in South Africa.

The goal of this application is to guide health professionals and parents to apply PPC to children who are already known to have serious conditions and who might live short lives.
