Memory Match It!

Memory Match It! consists of memory-related activities designed for people living with dementia. Played individually or with a loved-one or caregiver, Memory Match It! engages the mind and enhances quality of life. And it’s just fun, too.

Why is Memory Match It! good for people with dementia?

• Each memory activity stimulates the mind in a different way.

• After completing a quick recall quiz in the beginning of each session, Memory Match It! builds an appropriately challenging experience calibrated for the ability of that player, at that moment. It then adjusts the difficulty level as the player plays, factoring in how the player is doing. Folks have good days and less-good days, after all.

• Memory Match It! has 3 different visual themes that the player can choose from. Do they like nature, or space, or maybe cars? And they’re not stuck with it: Players choose their preferred theme for each and every session.

• With upbeat, theme-appropriate background music, the player can feel fully immersed in the theme they’ve chosen. (Ethereal space music, anyone?)

• If played with a loved-one or caregiver, Memory Match It! sparks conversation. For example, our signature Think Back moments prompt the player to talk about a day in their life. These loosely guided social moments are great for engaging the player, as well as a loved-one who might be shy or unsure (such as a grandchild of the player).
