Mercedes pay

ACCOUNT CREATION AND MANAGEMENT
The Mercedes pay app allows the user to create a Mercedes pay account, manage the account (including deletion of the account), manage personal information and follow all transactions via a user interface. The registration process may include the scanning of an Identification Document and a liveness test to complete the registration process.

ADD AND MANAGE PAYMENT METHODS
A user can add and manage funding methods (credit cards and bank accounts) via the Mercedes pay app. The user can also select its default payment method via the app interface.

PAYMENT AT POINT OF SALE
A user can pay at an accepted Point of Sale via QR code. The QR code generator is built in the app. The generated QR code is scanned by the cashier to complete the transaction.

PEER-TO-PEER TRANSACTION: SEND AND RECEIVE MONEY
A user can send e-money to another Mercedes pay user by generating a QR code. The recipient can use the "Cash In" functionality to scan the QR code.
Alternatively, if sender and receiver are not geographically close, the sender can send a link via its favourite Instant Messaging app. The recipient can then open the link and choose Mercedes pay to Cash In.

LEGAL
A Mercedes pay account is required to send and receive money. If the recipient does not have a Mercedes pay account, they can easily sign up for an account for free. Not all features may be available in your market.
