As we have advanced modern medicine, more people are living longer.



This is obviously a good thing! However, as we get older (a lot older!) our muscles start to reduce in size and so we become weaker.



When we become weaker, we struggle to do the things we used to do so easily, like walking and even standing. Unfortunately, we do not know why this happens.



We want to understand why our muscles get smaller and weaker as we get older so we are sending miniature muscles to space to help us understand a bit more about this. Download our app to discover why!
