How many times have you been in a truck at an RDC staring at a Loading Bay light in the mirror - waiting for your vehicle to be ready - trying to keep your eyes open after a long drive And thought - there’s just got to be a better way than this? Well at MiKro-Z we think there is!

Our MiKro-Z app's patent pending process Automatically monitors Loading Bay lights for changes in their operational status, updating a screen view on your phone when they move from Green (WAITING) to Red (LOADING / UNLOADING) and back to Green (READY): saving durational timing data for each stage, and simultaneously building a time-stamped record of how long key operational processes take at the RDC facilities you visit.

So instead of having to constantly watch the Bay light in your truck mirror, you could use this time to Recharge a little: perhaps briefly closing your eyes until your truck is ready to go back on the road.

On arrival at an RDC open MiKro-Z, start the ON SITE timer, select and confirm location. When you move ON BAY another timer starts. Secure your phone Firmly in a standard window mount and line up its camera view with your truck mirror, which should be reflecting the active Loading Bay light to the rear. Then select BAY WATCH and let its Automatic Monitoring process take over!

When the Bay light changes to Green to indicate your truck is Ready, MiKro-Z sounds an alarm and shows a visual alert on your phone. You can now deal with any paperwork and when ready, select the OFF BAY then OFF SITE buttons which will stop the ON BAY and ON SITE timers you started earlier: and save and store the timing data.

Before leaving take the opportunity to check My ON SITE RECORD to see how long each operational process took at the current RDC; like total time ON SITE, ON BAY, WAITING or LOADING, and how much BAY WATCH time you managed to get; perhaps comparing it with the last visit to see if was similar, longer or shorter. You could also add a note as a reminder to yourself if something particular happened.

Then go on with your journey: a little more Rested, Refreshed and Recharged than when you arrived!

But we know not all RDCs use Bays with operational lights and that some just have an area to be processed from. So would it be useful to capture, save, and track arrival and departure times ON SITE and OFF SITE, and your loading area timing data at those locations too? No problem you can also do that in MiKro-Z.
