mini Vario

mini Vario is a minimalistic acoustic variometer using the new barometer in iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+.

It offers similar advantages as a hardware mini-device:

Useful in many cases: mini Vario can be used as your primary device with visual and acoustic output. But it was primarily designed to work in background, in combination with your favourite flight app. You can also use it like an acoustic mini device: It works with the display switched off from your pocket.

Optimised battery life: mini Vario only uses the barometer of your iPhone, no GPS. If you use it while the display is switched off, you will get maximum battery lifetime.


IMPORTANT: mini Vario needs a barometer, which is only available on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+. You cannot use this app on any other iOS-Device !!!
