Help your homeless neighbors (or clients) reconnect with their loved ones! Use the Miracle Messages app to record the stories of people in your city and become one of our “digital detectives,” reuniting families and friends.

Miracle Messages is an award-winning nonprofit reunion service that helps people experiencing homelessness reconnect with their loved ones. We are tackling the “relational poverty” isolating as many as 1 in 3 people experiencing homelessness in the US.

Our approach is simple and effective: a person isolated by homelessness records a short video, audio, or text message to a family member or friend, often with the help of a referral partner or local volunteer using this app, our paper-based or online referral forms, or our 1-800-MISS-YOU hotline.
Then, our network of 1,200+ digital detectives attempt to locate the loved one, deliver the message, and reunite the family.

To date, we have reunited 203 families, with an average time disconnected of 20 years. 80% of reunions have led to a positive outcome, with 15-20% resulting in a person getting off-the-streets.
