•• Is honesty always the best policy? ••
A simple classroom rule is disobeyed and Miss Moffatt’s engagement ring goes missing. There’s a sobbing teacher, a flustered fish and a child, torn between owning up and concern about what will happen next. Will you tell the truth or will you choose another path?
“Miss Moffatt’s Ring”, the first in our range of zigzag storyapps, has seven possible endings and delivers a quality product for early learners. Designed to be read at home or in a shared classroom environment, it's a delightful story about everybody's favourite teacher, Miss Moffatt. We meet her in this app for the first time, along with Pepe, the clownfish, and Mr Logan, the principal. And we meet you, of course, because you're central to the story and you'll be making choices along the way.
FOCUS VALUE: Honesty (It’s important to tell the truth)
FEATURES INCLUDE:
• Captivating illustrations

• “Pick-a-page” facility to navigate easily through the app

WHAT’S ALREADY AVAILABLE
"Clever Max", our Classic storyapp, (launched 2016) is available on ipad and iphone and includes a school-readiness game. With its core value of "Self-esteem", teachers and parents have found "Clever Max" a useful tool for reassuring those children who feel inadequate in the classroom.
COMING SOON
“Helping Lily”, the second in our Zigzag storyapps series, should be ready before the end of 2017. It tells the story of a little girl in Miss Moffatt’s class who doesn’t want to come to school because of her glasses. And, of course, Pepe isn’t happy either! This app explores the theme of “Bullying” and gives some interesting strategies for handling this problem within a school environment.
