What is it about?

The “MonBiz” system is web-based dynamic software, developed within the framework of Mongolian Government Policy to support rural private business expansion, development and capacity building of rural-based private sector. Asian Development Bank financially supported development of the system. It contains information of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises from the country’s rural areas. The catalogue system enables the effective information sharing and marketing mechanisms between central/local governments and private enterprises, and encourages local governments to rationalize the investment and private sector development operations, and optimize the use of their limited economic resources. By the use of “MonBiz”, general public and users can effectively and easily reach vast pool of local products and services produced in rural areas.
