Welcome to the application “Buildings of Athens”. Here, you will find a significant number of the buildings built in Athens during the period 1830-1940.
The buildings are preserved and located in the seven municipal districts of Athens. The photos and the information invite you to visit them and tour the historic neighbourhoods.

The app was created as part of the “Recording, Documentation and Enhancement of 19th and 20th century buildings in Athens” program, carried out by MONUMENTA, a civil non-profit company for the protection of natural and architectural heritage in Greece and Cyprus, during the period 2013-2019, with the exclusive donation of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) (www.snf.org).
