Do you have trouble falling asleep? Or spend hours rolling around in bed and wake up the next day tired and out of sorts? If so, moonti may be able to help you improve your sleep!
moonti was created to help you fall asleep faster and sleep better, using calming lights and breathing exercises to quiet your mind and assist in falling asleep faster. Using this simple concept, moonti will help you clear your mind and concentrate only on the task of getting a good night's rest.
Why is sleep so important?
In the United States alone, approximately 70 million people suffer from some kind of sleep problem.
Even though adults need at least seven hours of sleep per night, about 35% of people get less than that. Age appears to be linked to lack of sleep, with 37% of people age 20–39 reporting low sleep duration and 40% of people age 40–59 getting too little sleep.
How can moonti help me get to sleep faster?
Using moonti is simple:
- Open the app and choose a program, either 8 Minutes or 20 Minutes. If this is your first time using the app, we recommend the 20 Minute program. After going through the 20 minute program a few times, you can starting using the 8-minute program to achieve the same results;
- After selecting the duration, choose a color that appeals to you. The available colors have been specially selected to deepen relaxation and assist in falling asleep;
- That's it! You're ready to go to sleep. So get comfy and simply position the phone with the screen up so that the projected light is reflected on the ceiling or your walls.
- Focus on the reflection and synchronize your breathing with the pulsating lights. Before you know it, you'll be asleep and moonti will switch itself off as soon as the program is finished.
