Motivate yourself to lose weight, exercise, and get healthier with this app (and track your success)! Stop giving in to the temptation of junk food at work or social gatherings. Get out and get the exercise you know you need. This app helps keep you on track!
This simple, yet effective, app comes pre-packaged with two 'types' of health motivation: avoiding junk food (good for weight loss) and exercising. With a one-time Pro upgrade, you can even add any motivator types you want, such as practicing a foreign language or getting that work done around the house!
The app uses various techniques to accomplish the task of motivating you:
· Reminders: the app will remind you, or get you to remind yourself, why you want to do what you want (or don't) want to do.
· Mindfulness: the app will help with simple mindfulness exercises that are shown to improve habit building/breaking.
· Distraction: for some motivation types, such as not wanting to eat junk food, the app will attempt to break your focus on the food, allowing you to mentally move beyond the desire to eat it.
· Imagery: using images can help with motivation, the app comes with dozens of images that will help motivate you to exercise or eat better.
· Tracking: the app will keep track of your successes and failures, providing insight into how to improve.
· Motivational quotes: I put in mindfulness and motivational quotes along with some of my own notes relating to the quotes. Know some great health and exercise quotes? Add them to the app so they can help you stay motivated.
· Reminders again: If you upgrade to the Pro version (a one-time purchase, not a monthly fee), you can add notes and reminders to the app to help you when you need motivation in the future, giving the app a more personal touch.
· Privacy: you can add your own motivation text and images, secure in the knowledge that nobody but you has access to them (others with full access to your phone do as well) as all the data is stored locally on your phone.

FAQ
Q: What if I lose my phone or it breaks, do I lose all my data?
A: Hopefully not. To provide the most privacy possible, nothing you add to the app or do with the app is stored anywhere but on your phone. There is backup functionality in the app, however. You can easily create and password-encrypt a zip file directly from the app that you can store anywhere you want, such as on your computer or in the cloud.
Q: What data do you keep?
A: None. I'm a very privacy-oriented person and don't like that apps come with trackers and use other methods to store and sell your personal information. The app is used completely offline and I have no interest or way of storing, sharing, seeing, or otherwise interacting with the data you store in the app.
Q: Does this app really work?
A: I think so. I originally built it for myself to get me healthier when I was a volunteer firefighter (when going inside a burning building, the last thing you want is to be the first person who runs out of air). I used a simplified version of this app to keep me eating better and exercising regularly.
Q: Do you plan on maintaining and growing the app?
A: Yes. So long as people are interested in using it, I will continue to improve it. If you have requests for improvement, there is information inside the app for how to get those to me.
