Our MRNSW volunteers are recognised for their marine skill, experience and commitment to saving lives on the water. This team of boating safety advocates works together, both on and off the water, to provide boaters with the assistance, advice and vital rescue services to help them stay safe on the water.
With more than 3,000 volunteers in 44 strategically-located units watching over the State’s most popular boating, fishing and cruising regions, there’s a job for almost everyone at their local MRNSW unit.
The Marine Rescue Risk App allows our Volunteers to easily and quickly perform Risk Assessments on all Marine Rescue activities, to ensure procedures and policies are adhered to both on the water and land. It reduces input, by extracting weather data based on your current location, plus allowing the user to take or upload a photo that can be submitted as part of their Risk Assessment.
