MMY is an autonomous, incorporated, non-profit entity formed following the murder of three Muslim youth in Chapel Hill, NC (The three winners).

From the tragedy, we have taken heed of many lessons; namely, the importance of reviving Islamic action for the improvement of the collective social condition. In addition to the need for a structured youth development and support work. The Murfreesboro Muslim Youth will work to achieve collective social condition improvement via our youth work and ideas.

We incorporated in July 2015 in Tennessee as a non profit religious organization dedicated to the youth and community services. We ARE NOT a 501c organization.

Our mission is to help connect, develop, grow, learn from, and educate our youth from all age groups through community services and working together.

Our objective is to provide our youth with opportunities to engage in activities that will serve the community we live in, foster relationships, establish and enhance the good nature in each one of them, and developed the sense of pride of their Muslim identity while doing or organizing these activities.
