Piano Chords is a fun way to practice chord identification on a keyboard, firming up the skill that forms the foundation of both performing and composition. Challenge yourself with fourteen levels of difficulty, starting with basic root position triads and moving through a variety of seventh chords, with and without inversions. Don't worry: if you need a little assistance, a hint option will show you the lowest note of the chord.

Hints - Highlights the first note in the chord, making the game a bit easier.

Relative to Key - When yes is selected, dominant and diminished 7th chords are presented based on the major or minor key to which they are traditionally connected; i.e. the notes of "dominant 7th chord of C major" would be G-B-D-F. When no is selected, these chords exist independently of any harmonic framework; i.e. the notes of "B diminished 7th chord" would be B-D-F-A flat.
